QUESTION: Is Online Shopping Really Safe?

ANSWER: This is still a concern today even though there are many online sales being conducted on websites across the country. Security is an issue in any business operation. In actuality, it is generally safer to use your credit card online than in a physical store, simply because more steps are taken to safeguard and secure the data. If the website is taking advantage of SSL Secure Servers and using high-level encryption techniques, your information is quite safe. It cannot be read intransit nor accessed by outside parties. VideoReef.com uses all these systems and methods to insure the security of your transaction online. It is highly unlikely that you are taking a risk in using your credit card to place an order on our site. As Web Developers we can say that from a technical perspective the systems in use at VideoReef.com are as secure as any available online. If you do not wish to use your credit card online you can simply mail us a money order.

QUESTION: Do you Release Personal Data to Other Parties?

ANSWER: No. We do not affiliate with any other organization and do not share customer data with outside parties. We may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances in connection with an investigation of fraud, or other illegal activity. Under no other conditions will your data be released. We also will not contact you by email ourselves if you prefer. To be removed from our mailing list, just fill-in our Removal Form.

QUESTION: What is Regional Coding on DVD's?

ANSWER: Many of our DVD's are coded for Region 1 (USA & Canada) and will not work on players intended for sale outside of North America. More Info.

QUESTION: How do I contact VideoReef.com?

QUESTION: What are your Shipping Methods and Charges?

ANSWER: We normally ship by USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail in the United States. DVD Sets ship standard for as little as $4.95. Priority Mail starts at $6.95. Expedited shipment is available at additional cost. See our section on Shipping for more details on how fees are determined. Orders are usually filled within one day of placement. Media Mail normally takes less than a week to reach you. If you have special delivery needs, let us know. Orders outside the United States are sent by Airmail. We ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

QUESTION: What are my Payment Options?

ANSWER: We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Electronic Checks thru the PayPal Payment System. You can also mail a Money Order. International orders can be paid with your credit card through PayPal or in U.S. Dollars by International Money Order.

QUESTION: Will I be charged Sales Tax?

ANSWER: VideoReef.com is required by law to collect sales tax for states from which we do business, currently only California. Tax will automatically be added to your order if you are located in California.

QUESTION: What is your Policy on Returns and Refunds?

ANSWER: Items can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund if still factory-sealed. Defective items can be returned within 30 days after purchase for replacement only. See our Returns page for complete details.

QUESTION: How do Pre-Orders Work?

ANSWER: A Pre-Order is simply an item that has not yet been released. You place the order the same as any other. It will be shipped to arrive on or after the Release Date. Keep in mind that release dates are sometimes revised. If we receive notification of a change in timing after your order has been placed, we will advise you by email of the new date. You can cancel the pre-order anytime before shipment.

QUESTION: I think my Order is Overdue?

ANSWER: Depending on when your order is placed, it can take a day or two to be shipped and then several days in transit, even by Priority Mail. If it still seems like you should have it already, feel free to contact us by phone or email and we will let you know when it was shipped. If there is going to be a delay in filling your order, we will advise you soon after we receive it. You can always cancel unfilled orders that have not yet shipped.

QUESTION: Do you Gift Wrap orders?

ANSWER: It may be possible, depending upon the location from which your item will ship. Simply indicate your request in the special instructions box on the order form and we will let you know.

QUESTION: Can I ship the order to another address?

ANSWER: Yes, just put the shipping address in the delivery section on the order form. The order will be sent directly to the address you specify.
